Who we are
Where evidence meets lived experience.
We bridge the gap between corporate compliance and genuine community transformation—building interventions that work in the real world.
Our mission
Transformation that can be seen, measured and sustained.
To accelerate socio-economic transformation in South Africa by enabling private companies to deploy SED and CSI funds strategically, transparently and with measurable impact.
Every intervention draws on academic insight and disciplined learning.
We live the entrepreneurial journey we teach.
Transparent reporting and B-BBEE-aligned delivery from day one.

Our founder
Kirsty
Louwskitter.
A researcher, proven entrepreneur and mentor with an instinct for turning rigorous thinking into practical growth.
After scaling a business from R150,000 to over R500,000 monthly turnover in one year, Kirsty brings more than theory to every engagement. Her Master’s research examines the impact of corporate contributions to social causes—and gives each Motheo programme an evidence-based foundation.
“We fill the mentorship gap with lived experience, not theory.”

Why it matters
The private sector can be a co-creator of a transformed society.
South Africa’s youth unemployment, gender inequality and SMME exclusion demand more than budget allocation. They demand strategic partnership, focused delivery and honest measurement.
“In Africa, every successful business is a lifeline. It creates jobs.”Vusi Thembekwayo
